Social & Networking Events

Networking and social events are highlights of CTBUH conferences, excellent for making business connections, as well as catching up with colleagues and friends. Typically hosted in the upper floors of a seminal skyscraper, these events showcase incredible views of the host city’s expansive urban context. There will be an opening networking reception in London on Monday, 23 September; a night for sponsors to host their own social events on Tuesday, 24 September; and a closing reception in Paris on Friday, 27 September.  Stay tuned for more information.

Awards Ceremony & Dinner

The highly anticipated awards ceremony & dinner, taking place on Wednesday, 25 September, 6:00–10:00 PM, is the culminating event of the conference, when trophies and titles are conferred on the year’s winning projects. See which Award of Excellence projects advance to category winners and which overall project wins the coveted title of “2024 Best Tall Building Worldwide.”

Paris Regional Program

Experience Paris through a whole new lens on Friday, 27 September, when attendees will have the opportunity to encounter the City of Light through a rich and engaging program. The detailed program is currently under development, but aims to highlight bold new projects such as Trinity, bringing new energy to the La Defense district; Opalia, demonstrating the best possibilities of the mass timber movement; Tour Triangle, upending precedents of form and scale; as well as radical redevelopments of 20th-century edifices, such as Tour Ariane and Tour Pleyel or La Félicité. Conceived in conjunction with major transportation investments, these projects are transforming the city into a greener, more equitable, and more accessible metropolis, heralding an exciting new era for the city.

AIA CES Credits

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat is a registered American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education Credits (CES) provider. Registered attendees can accumulate AIA-approved CES credits during the core conference (including Health, Safety & Welfare credits). A certificate of completion will be provided to registrants upon request.
