Discover transformative ideas for tall buildings and urban habitats

The annual CTBUH International Conference is the definitive event for creative exchange and meaningful impact in the development of tall buildings and urban spaces, convening in two of the world’s premier capital cities during one exhilarating week, with AEC innovators from across the globe.
Here, in-person discussions, workshops, presentations, and panels offer insights and thought leadership, while providing inspiration and opportunities for professional growth and the exchange of best practices.
As the recognized international authority on tall buildings, CTBUH conferences help elevate the standards in sustainable vertical urbanism and develop leaders working in all building industry sectors.
Last year’s theme, New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma, sought to identify strategies for transformation and growth that bring new blood to urban life, providing new opportunities for flexibility, energy savings, and a substantial reduction of impact on the environment.

Urbanization, growth, and market volatility present both challenges and opportunities for city-making. The tall buildings we construct must exhibit quality and porosity on the ground and first few floors, in order to enrich and sustain those networks. The core to our success is in how these buildings, particularly the first few floors, work together to create and frame great streets and the public realm.
Join us from 6–9 October 2025, in Toronto, for From the Ground Up: Tall Buildings and City-Making.
