Social & Networking Events
Networking and social events are highlights of CTBUH conferences, excellent for making business connections, as well as catching up with colleagues and friends. Hosted on the upper floors of a seminal skyscraper, these events showcase incredible views of the city’s expansive urban context. There will be two major receptions during the conference, a night for sponsors to host their own social events, and a closing reception in Paris.
Opening Networking Reception
On the first evening of the conference, join us for an exclusive VIP reception at the recently completed 8 Bishopsgate. Mingle with fellow attendees and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat while taking in incredible views from “The Lookout,” on the highest level (floor 50) of the tower. Witness uninterrupted panoramas with iconic landmarks, impressive skyscrapers, and historic architecture—including the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, The Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Barbican, among many others—at a memorable event in the heart of London’s financial district.
Due to high demand, we have expanded the timing of the reception to allow more attendees to participate. We ask you to choose between arriving immediately following the Conference Workshops, or join later for your post-dinner drinks and dessert bites. Entry will depend on your selected time.
