This year’s International Conference integrates the CTBUH Annual Awards program, which recognizes extraordinary contributions to the advancement of tall buildings and the urban environment. Projects, innovations, and practices are recognized in more than 20 categories and subcategories, including best tall building, urban habitat, innovation, repositioning, construction, and structure, among others. Winners in each Award of Excellence category present their projects to an international audience and live juries; overall category winners are then selected during the event and awards are conferred at the highly anticipated dinner and ceremony.

Additionally, this year’s Award of Excellence program introduces the Global Community Award, which empowers non-jurors to actively participate in acknowledging outstanding projects around the world. Intended for enthusiasts and professionals alike, the inclusive Global Community Award embraces a diverse range of perspectives and fosters a sense of camaraderie and collaboration within the global AEC community. This communal approach not only enriches CTBUH’s annual awards program but also engenders a shared appreciation for innovation, pioneering design and processes, and urban sustainability.

Votes for the Global Community Award will be accepted until September 16, ensuring ample time for individuals throughout the CTBUH community to engage with nominated projects and cast votes conveniently. Whether you wish to explore the entries meticulously and/or share your insights with peers, the flexibility of the submission timeline ensures that all voices are heard and valued in the celebration of architectural excellence.

Before selecting your Global Community Award winner, we encourage you to research each project to find out more details.
